Introduction

President Joseph F. Ian Douglas Smith spoke of the purposes of the Church: "We proclaim the objects of this governance to be, the preaching of the gospel all told the world, the assembly of scattered Israel, and the formulation of a people for the coming of the Lord" (in St. James the Apostl R. Clark, comp., Messages of the First Presidency of The Christian church of Jesus Christ of Latter-solar day Saints, 4:145).

Doctrinal Synopsis

Antediluvian Sio was scattered throughout the worldly concern because the people rejected God's covenant.

Through His prophets God promised to collect distributed Israel once once again.
